Newborn Hats

I have a few newborn session lined up that I'm pretty excited about. I really enjoy capturing newborns, especially when I can get them under 3 weeks old. They're super easy to work with since they are asleep 90% of the time. And when you have sleeping babies, you have adorable photos!

I have been spending time recently gathering props for my newborn sessions. A few weeks ago I was on a mission to buy some cute little knitted hats. What I was looking for I couldn't find. After inspecting some of these cute little hats closer I challenged myself. And that challenge was to make my own newborn hats.

So, off I went to the craft store and bought yarn. Lots of yarn. And I made my own. I made LOTS of my own! It's almost addictive and I can't stop.

I look forward to my upcoming newborn sessions and to be able to use these adorable hats.

Some day I'll start selling these . . .

Bryce National Park

I have been going through some old photo CDs and came across a trip Ray and I took to Utah and Nevada back in 2007. I thought I’d share part of that trip with you.

In June of 2006, I came across a photo contest for Zion National Park. The winner would receive an all exclusive 7 day trip to the park. I liked that! Zion is one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring National Parks I have been to.

In February 2004, Ray and I relocated to North Carolina and we decided to make a vacation out of it. We took 2 weeks to get there, zigzagging across the U.S. We made

I had posted a couple of this sweet little girl last week, but wanted to make a slide show of her shoot. Enjoy . . .

Jayden’s Trip to the Dentist

It’s that time of the year for Jayden. He’s on his way to get his teeth cleaned. The past couple of months Ray, Kylene and I have been to the dentist. And each time, Jayden has wanted to go.

“I need to go to the teeth Dr. too”

So, today, it’s his turn.
He runs to the truck and hops into his seat. He’s pretty excited to go . . .

When we arrived, I couldn’t get him out of his seat fast enough. As
