Lifestyle Session

I had a wonderful family lifestyle session with the Houlton children, Zach and Zoey. Each year we get together for a lifestyle session and we have a blast. Zach and Zoey are adorable and love each other so much, I love to watch them interact.
We shot the session at Mercer Arboretum in Humble. Beautiful place in all seasons!
I enjoy shooting lifestyle sessions with children. It’s an opportunity to relax and let the kids be themselves. Parents really enjoy these too as they are relaxed and laughing and not worrying if the kids will give the perfect pose or smile. And the kids? Well, they are having a blast making goofy faces with the camera, laughing, running and basically being just what they are -- KIDS!

6 Month Old Session

I met the cutest little 6 month old ever! This is Jaxon, what an adorable little man he is. Sweetest smile in town too. We had a wonderful session, including his parents, Stefanie and Matt. It was great meeting your family, and thank you to Don and Wendy for a wonderful time at your home!

Family Portrait Session

I met a family for a different kind of family session - at the Graffiti wall here in Houston. GREAT place to go if you're looking for something a little different, which this family was.

I had a session with one of Jayden's soccer teammates, Zach, and his family a couple of weeks ago. His aunt and uncle were in town for Thanksgiving so they took the opportunity to have their portraits taken as well.

We had a wonderful time and the kids, Zach and Zoey, were adorable to boot!

Welcome December!

The last month of the year. Wow!

I don’t know about you, but for me this year flew by. Heck, every year flies by in your adult life. Why is that? When we were kids, time couldn’t fly fast enough. Especially when you’re sitting in the most boring class during school. Or Christmas couldn’t come fast enough when you’re counting down the days in December. Or when you get in trouble and your Mother would say “you just wait until your Father gets home!” THAT was the longest time to wait. LOL - Yes, there were days I was a little devil in my younger years!

Maybe time flies because we try to cram in as much as we can during the day.

Holidays are here, sessions are slowing down, and I can get caught up with my blog again.

Ray and I took our annual trip to New York last month. It was a short trip, 4 days, and we crammed in a bunch of stuff like we always do. It felt like we were there for a week.

Other than our trip to New York, and a wonderful Thanksgiving with our family, it’s been busy with Holiday Sessions and spending time with my adorable grandson.

Sneek Peek Week

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Axel and Tanny. They are expecting their first child in March and are so excited. We've been in a cold snap for a while but this particular day we had beautiful weather!

We headed out to a couple of parks in the downtown Houston area. Axel and Tanny brought along their little sweet doggies and we had a fantastic time.

Touchdown!

Last weekend Kylene wanted to get some 'football' pictures with her and Jayden. Jayden loves the heck out of football. He calls it 'touchdown.'

We found a soccer field and headed out for some shots. Oh, don't let the fingernail polish and heels fool you. That girl can play some football.

Tackling comes easy for Jayden. Especially when Mommy's not ready!

After each 'touchdown' Mommy got a kiss from Jayden.

I love these two! So much fun together!
