Herschel has arrived!

What a handsome little boy. Little Herschel is one calm little guy. Just went with the flow and gave us such a smooth session. Adorable little man, if I say so myself!!

Barnett Family Maternity Session

I had the pleasure of capturing their first born, Beverly. When I received the call in November wanting their maternity session, I was thrilled. They were awaiting the arrival of a little boy, due in December. After waiting about a week for the temperature to warm up, they were brave enough to do an outdoor session in 39 degree weather! Yes, 39! It was cold, the session went fast and we had fun in all that chilly weather.

Max Turns One!

Maxwell, my youngest grandson. What a character he is. And how happy I was to do his One Year Old session! He is all about being a clown, and he's good at it. Happy 1st Birthday, Maxwell. We love you to infinity, and beyond . . .

Lexi's Senior Session

I got a call from my niece in September asking if I could come out to California in October to do her Senior session. My schedule was a little too booked and I was unable to at that time. She found a fantastic photographer who took great care of her and she got some outstanding images. I was able to clear my calendar to take a trip end of November and, while there, captured a few of her. Lucky girl, two senior sessions! We had a blast and here's the shots of yet another gorgeous niece!

Meet Anjali

I had the opportunity to capture Addie's cousin, Anjali's newborn session. What a beautiful little girl she is.

Addie Turns 2

Addison has been my precious little client since she was born.  What an adorable bundle of personality.  She loves the camera and the camera adores her.  She's such a natural and I look forward to capturing her growing up.

Introducing Daniel

Meet handsome Daniel. He is the little brother of another little client of mine, Axel Gabriel. Adorable little boys.

Jayden's Session

Poor guy - having a Nana as a photographer he gets NO passes. He is so photogenic, how can I NOT take this guys pictures!! We went over to the ball park to play some baseball on one condition - Nana gets pictures. After his eye rolling, he was all smiles . . .

WATER FIGHT!

It gets HOT in Texas. And when it gets hot, it's time for a water fight with POP!!!

Jayden's In Town!

I love this time of the year when I get my oldest grandson for the whole summer. It's this time when I can act totally like a kid and I don't care! Oh the places we will go. Normally he arrives right after his birthday, but this year we were lucky to have him for his birthday. He picked out his cake, because it reminds him of his favorite time with us - 4th of July - and chose the stars and stripes. What fun. I can only wonder what his wish was before he blew out his candles! Happy 7th Birthday, buddy!

Spring Time

Fall is my most favorite season, but in Texas I'm loving Spring!  Not only for the gorgeous fields of wildflowers that coat the Hill Country, but the birds that visit my yard.  All varieties seem to converge on this little hanging feeder I have and I am just waiting for it to collapse from the weight.  Doves, Bluejays, these cute little chubby ones I have no idea their names, and I love it when the Cardinals are in town for a visit.  Beautiful birds!

And my cat, Nell, loves to just lounge around on a chair in our Courtyard.  She's such a diva.

Nieces Senior Portraits

I flew to California in March to capture my beautiful, gorgeous niece, Kennedy's, senior pictures.  We travelled to the wine country to a couple of wineries, as well as Old Town Sacramento, to do her session.  Beautiful weather, beautiful girl and a fantastic session.  Couldn't have asked for anything better.  Congrats Kennedy!!

Beverly Turns 1

I had a wonderful time capturing Beverly's special day.  I enjoy watching my little clients grow up.  Beverly is such a little lady and has such a cute shyness to her that's absolutely adorable!

Busy Times

It's been awhile and I know I'm behind on my posting.  It's amazing how things can take over so much of your time that something always gets placed on the back burner.  Unfortunately it had to be my blog.    Well, it's time to get this thing updated!
