Summer is coming . . . .

And I'm looking forward to it. Extremely hot or not - I'm looking forward to it.

This is a picture of my son taken out at the swamps in Louisiana a couple of years back. Welcoming the summer sun . . .

New Orleans Graveyards . . .

Had a fantastic trip to New Orleans. As always, I absolutely enjoy visiting New Orleans. I really miss it, and, being a 5 hour drive away here in Houston, I’m glad I can go back and know where all the really good places are to visit. The good restaurants, bars, clubs, locations and the little quiet festivals that aren’t all touristed up (is that a word? Well, it is now). And, as odd as this may sound, I love the old graveyards of New Orleans. I can wander through them all day – with Ray in tow of course. I would never wander by myself!

The Cemeteries of New Orleans are much like the city itself. They are a mirror to the opulence and desecration of a mysterious and enchanting city. They dance back and forth between beauty and ruin.

Sneek Peek Week

I'm a member of ModelMayhem.com. It's a site for models and photographers to connect, get together and do some photoshoots. This particular gentleman contacted me for a photoshoot. We met up in the Kingwood area north of Houston and did a series of shots along Lake Houston and some railroad tracks nearby.

I had a pleasant time working with him and look forward to more.

Enjoy the series . . .

Wallet Box

This was my gift to my Senior I shot last week, a custom Wallet Box.

I usually throw in one gift with my Senior packages and this was hers.

I designed hers simple and with colors she likes. These come in 2 sizes, single and double. The single holds up to 50 wallets, and the double up to 100. They're wrapped in textured satin, have a magnet which keeps the lid closed, and are the perfect addition to senior wallets.
